Your Main Mission:
The Crew Placement Specialist is responsible for interviewing and assessing crew candidates to best match them with the search criteria set by the hiring parties of both managed and non-managed yachts.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Evaluate and select top talent by conducting in-depth interviews, verifying certifications, experience, and references.
🔹 Partner with clients (captains, owners) to understand their needs and advise on salaries, qualifications, and crew selection.
🔹 Manage the full Placement process: job order creation, candidate sourcing, database management, and profile submissions.
🔹 Ensure seamless placements by coordinating with all stakeholders and maintaining regular follow-ups.
🔹 Build strong industry relationships through networking, trade events, and crew career development.
Required Skill set:
🔹You ideally have 5 years of experience in crew Placement Services within the yachting industry, demonstrating a strong understanding of the unique needs of yacht owners and crew management.
🔹You possess strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
🔹You are comfortable using MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, for daily tasks and communication.
🔹You excel at building relationships with people from all walks of life, understanding their needs, and communicating efficiently.
🔹You build trust with captains, owners, and clients through your expertise and professionalism.
🔹You manage multiple tasks with ease, always prioritizing what matters most to ensure efficiency and smooth operations.
